Dennis Wise wants Chelsea to sign Arsenal star

Jack Wilshere’s contract will expire at the end of the season

Jack Wilshere is likely to see out his remaining contract with Arsenal, expiring at the end of the season. The negotiations between the club and player seems to reach a dead end and the 26 year old could leave on a free transfer.

Former Chelsea midfielder Dennis Wise thinks that Wilshere would represent an excellent signing for the Blues this summer and would be an ideal partner for N’Golo Kante in the midfield.

Chelsea are expected to add reinforcements in the midfield in the summer transfer window and are already linked heavily with Jean Michael-Seri.

“If Chelsea needed a midfield player I would definitely take Jack Wilshere,” he told Sky Sports.

“He’s free, he’s 26 years old and he’s proved he’s come back to full fitness. You see the money they’ve paid for Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko and I think he’s better than them.

“At 23, what would you have paid for him? £40 million? Would I play him in the Chelsea team now? Yes, I would.

“I’d sit him alongside N’Golo Kante and I’d play him.

“I’m sure Arsenal fans wouldn’t like me saying this, but he’s for nothing if he’s walking away. Go and have a go at him. Go and take him.”

Despite repeated physical problems, which have restricted Wilshere to only 19 Premier League appearances this season, Wise remains unmoved.

“His injury record is what it is. Someone could get injured tomorrow, so that doesn’t matter. He has proved he has come back to get away from these injuries,” he said.

“Everyone was writing him off 18 months ago, but he has shut them all up.

“His timing is spot on. His agent must think they are in a really comfortable position.”

Chelsea receives boost in their pursuit of Serie A star

The Blues are set for a summer overhaul

After a poor domestic campaign, Chelsea are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window. They will be willing to add reinforcements in the squad in order to challenge for the title next season.

According to Talksport, Chelsea have received a boost in their pursuit of Federico Chiesa. After sending officials to see him in action, the Blues are believed to be considering making a move for him this summer.

The 20 year old has impressed in the Serie A this season and has bagged six goals for Florentina. His stellar displays have also seen him break into the Italy team.

Florentina’s boss, Pioli, has confessed he doesn’t know if the youngster will be at the club next season.

“I’m calm, even if you can never be in football,” Pioli told Rai Radio.

“Can Chiesa become a ‘bandiera’ or will he be sold like [Federico] Bernardeschi? I don’t know.

“What I can say is that he’s grown a lot, he’s made great strides and he can become very important for this club.”

Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Chiesa ahead of the summer transfer window.

The youngster is now under contract with Fiorentina until 2021. However, the club would consider pressing offers for him.

The Blues have watched the defender many times this season

After a poor domestic season, Chelsea are planning to bolster their side this summer to challenge for the title next season. Their main priority is to add defensive reinforcements as the team struggled defensively this season.

Chelsea are targeting Paris Saint-Germain’s defender Presnel Kimpembe according to Tuttosport quoted by Sky Sports.

Kimpembe’s emergence this season has made him a target for the Blues. They have watched him many times this season. They also wanted to sign the 22 year old in 2016 but a deal never went through.

The Frenchman has been solid for the French giants this season with Unai Emery trusting him in big games, recently against Real Madrid.

PSG are reluctant to lose a player they regard as one of their brightest talents and hope to begin talks over a new deal. He is currently on £45,000 per week and his current contract will expire on 2021.

With Unai Emery set to leave at the end of the season, Kimpembe would like to know about his role next season and wants assurance before signing a new contract extension with the club.

Several Spanish clubs are also keeping tabs on him.

Crystal Palace wants to sign Loftus-Cheek on a permanent basis

Roben Loftus-Cheek came through the ranks of Chelsea and made his senior debut for them in 2014. But couldn’t establish himself as a regular in the the first team and just made 32 appearances since his debut.

The 22 year old joined Crystal Palace on loan for the whole season last summer in order to get more first team football. Despite battling injury problems, has made 20 Premier League appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

Loftus-Cheek’s performances led to two full England caps in November, playing 90 minutes against Germany and 35 against Brazil.

But the young midfielder has admitted that he is not sure whether he will return to Chelsea or stay at Crystal Palace this summer. Palace are interested in signing him on a permanent basis from the Blues. Other top European Clubs are also keeping tabs on him.

“I really haven’t thought about what’s going to happen next season,” he said, per The Independent.

“I’ve still got a few games now. I’m focused with Palace. Whatever happens next season, I’m not really looking at that right now.

“I’ll deal with that when it comes.

“The experience of being a Premier League player playing every week is just massive,” he added.”

Dortmund wants to sign Batshuayi on a permanent deal

Michy Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille for £33.1 million in 2016 but couldn’t established himself as a regular starter for the team and struggled for game time. He found himself behind Diego Costa and then Alvaro Morata.

The Belgian joined Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season in January to get more first team football. He made an instant impact and scored 9 goals in 14 appearances. But he is set to miss rest of the season as he had sustained ankle ligament damage at the weekend.

But the German giants have been very impressed by the 24 years old and wants to make the deal permanent. Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed in February that they would try to sign the forward outright in the next transfer window.

But it will be very difficult to convince Chelsea as the purpose of the loan was to help Batshuayi develop and regain confidence in view of becoming a more regular member of the squad next term. The Blues even rejected Dortmund’s request to include an option to buy him as part of the loan deal.

Chelsea will demand at least £50 million from Borussia Dortmund for Batshuayi, reports the Evening Standard. And the value could even rise, if the Belgium International gets fit ahead of the World Cup and have a strong campaign.

But Dortmund also have the money as they sold Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal for £56 million in the January transfer window.

Chelsea considering signing Ukrainian wonderkid in summer.

The Blues have endured a tough season under Antonio Conte after slipping out of the top four following a dramatic loss of form.

Chelsea have won just five games this calendar year and Tottenham have a 10 point gap lead for UCL places.

Chelsea boss Conte is expected to be sacked at the end of the season, with several names touted to take over.

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich will take interest in the club this summer having had left affairs in recent seasons to his trusted aides.

And a summer overhaul of the squad is expected, with a number of departures and arrivals on the cards.

Portuguese reports say that Stal midfielder Kuzyk is being scouted by the Stamford Bridge club.

At just 22, he is touted as one for the future, but with Porto and Benfica linked with the Ukrainian, Chelsea may be forced into a decision.

Chelsea may have to lower their transfer sights this summer as they look likely to be without the allure of Champions League football.

Chelsea target Ben Wilmot set to be sold

Chelsea star Marcos Alonso sends message to ‘suffering’ fans.

The Blues have suffered a horrendous season in defence of their Premier League title.

Antonio Conte’s men can still win the FA Cup, their chances of a top-four finish are all but over.

However, Alonso thanked and paid tribute to the Chelsea faithful.

He said:

“I appreciate the love from them at this bad moment for everybody.

“They just have to know we are giving everything and we are improving from the mistakes this year. We will come back stronger for sure.

“I feel bad for them because they are suffering like the team, and they don’t deserve that.

“Hopefully we can give them the FA Cup at the end of the season, and then next season we will make sure we improve and we fight for every title.

“We have to keep giving everything until the end of the season.

“If it’s still possible to get in the top four we have to try until the end.

“And in the FA Cup of course it’s the only title we have left to win, and we have to give more than 100 per cent to try to win the cup.”

Top five most valued Chelsea players 2018 Alvaro Morata

Alvaro Morata was very close to signing for AC Milan last summer.

A document published by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has revealed that Álvaro Morata appears to have held negotiations with AC Milan last summer.

It showed the fees paid to agents and intermediaries by every single Serie A club and curiously, Morata’s name appeared on the list alongside Milan’s.

Bozzo later explained:

“The commission is received only after the conclusion of the operation,

“A mandate is an official step that is carried out in such a way that we can work regularly,

“A mandate becomes ineffective when the operation does not materialise. If it was done? That was Milan’s intention.”

The 25-year-old has only managed to score 14 goals in all competitions since moving to Stamford Bridge, and currently looks in serious danger of missing out on a place in Spain’s World Cup squad.
