Frank Lampard has reportedly agreed a 3 year deal with Chelsea which will see him take over at Stamford Bridge in the next 48 hours.

The Former Blues player and club legend, Frank is currently the boss at Derby County. Lampard started his managerial career last season when he took over the Rams. In one season, not only did Lampard take them to the play-offs but he also managed to revamp an ageing squad and play some brilliant attacking football while doing so.

Lampard spent 13 years at Chelsea where he won 11 trophies for the club, including captaining the club on the special night of their UEFA Champions League win in Munich. Lampard is known for his calm head even in the worst circumstances and he will be replacing the methodical Maurizio Sarri who left Chelsea for Juventus earlier this summer.

Lampard will definitely be more of a fan favourite than Sarri, who was hated by the fans for his stubbornness. However, Lampard is more of a cult hero at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea fans will surely be delighted to hear that Lampard has agreed a 3 year deal with the club which includes Champions League bonuses.

Chelsea Legend Gives Assurance That Frank Lampard Is Ready For Chelsea Job

Former Chelsea player, Claude Makelele insists that Frank Lampard is ready to come back to the club.

The Derby County manager is being heavily tipped to take over at Stamford Bridge after Maurizio Sarri’s departure. Many believe that he is not yet ready to take on such a challenging role while many are backing him to succeed because of his prior connection to the club.

Makelele believes this is ideal time for Lampard to appointed as the Blues boss. He said, “At the moment, nothing is decided. For me, it’s good the ex-legends come back to the club. I hope so. I’m sure he wants to give everything for Chelsea.

“So, of course, I’m happy for this idea of the club to bring back a legend. He’s ready. He knows what is needed to bring success to the club.

“Frank is someone who is very professional, he focuses on details, focuses about the love he gives for Chelsea. I’m sure he will be a great manager for Chelsea.”

“Always Chelsea will be there,” Makelele added. “Last season Chelsea were fighting in the Premier League and won the Europa League.

“The opportunity will come soon with the new project. I’m sure Chelsea will be able to give a lot of happiness to the fans.”

Goalkeeper Reveals Why He Will Be Leaving Chelsea This Summer

Goalkeeper Reveals Why He Will Be Leaving Chelsea This Summer

Marcin Bulka has revealed that he will be leaving Chelsea for the lack of playing time.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper joined the 2016 but he was never allowed to feature for the senior side. When he asked about a loan move elsewhere, Maurizio Sarri apparently denied his request.

“At the moment Chelsea, but the contract expires on June 30 and then I will be a free agent,” he told TVP Sport. “I know where I stand. The situation is slowly becoming more or less clarified.

“Soon, it will be officially confirmed, with whom I will sign a contract. I told you earlier that I would leave Chelsea.

“I talked to many people from the world of football, it was not a secret. I informed the club that I would not sign a new contract. I left Chelsea not only because of Kepa, but there were also several other aspects that we talked about after the preparations for the season last year and which were not met.

“What I have been told has only come true in a few percent. We did not quite get along. That’s how it looked, but I did not get a chance.

“I have no regrets about Sarri. It seems to me that not putting me out was not just his decision. I wanted to go on loan, but I was not let go. Yes, I chose to see if I would regret it or not, but it seems to me that I will not.

“I thought about this decision for a very long time and chose that after the season I will be a contract and I will be a free agent.”

Gonzalo Higuain confirms Chelsea future

Higuain’s agent has said that the Argentinian will play in Juventus and leave Chelsea.

“Higuain in Italy will play only for Juventus,” Nicola Higuain tweeted. “Two years of [his] contract remain and will be respected. Happy Sunday to all.”

“I’m in Buenos Aires and Gonzalo is here with his wife and daughter, but he’s on holiday,” Nicolas Higuain told Radio Marte.

“I want to clarify that we haven’t talked to anyone else. My brother’s also under contract with Juve.

“Gonzalo wants to respect his contract and therefore stay with Juventus for another two years.

“His performances at Juve have been good and playing for another team in Italy isn’t a workable solution.

“I don’t want to disrespect anyone, but if Gonzalo plays in Italy again then he only will for Juve, who own him.

“I think this could be Gonzalo’s year. He has so much strength and determination, and he wants to end his career at Juve.

“When we got to Naples, the whole world said Gonzalo was crazy and that he shouldn’t have left Real Madrid for Napoli, but we knew perfectly well what we were in for.

“The passion of the Neapolitan people led us to accept Napoli’s offer and not others. To this say, I say that we made the right decision.

“The parties wanted each other. The Neapolitan people always loved Gonzalo and the boos he received after his transfer at Juve prove it.

“The pain was strong, but I think their reaction was normal because we’re talking about a passionate set of fans.

“I think it’s still too early because Gonzalo is 31 and, once he has recharged his batteries, he’ll be good enough for Juventus.

“He has no second thoughts about quitting the national team. He felt he had to give way to younger players because staying in the national team for such a long time is a great responsibility and he preferred to withdraw himself.

“I have many friends in Naples. I had three fantastic years there and we were lucky enough to meet so many good people.

“I never asked Gonzalo if he regretted leaving but, beyond talking about the clause paid by Juve, we said we could only look ahead and that turning around could only hurt.

“Gonzalo’s job is to play football, it’s his profession and we believe we haven’t hurt anyone. This is football and the passion is there.

“The fans can say what they want and react to wounds because we too in Argentina react to certain choices.”

Chelsea’s newly appointed technical advisor Petr Cech has shed some light on Chelsea’s current managerial situations

“I am one of the articles that the coach has to choose from,” the 37-year-old told reporters in the Czech Republic over the weekend.

“I could consult all the candidates with the leadership, they know my ideas. The club has identified some of the coaches they are dealing with.”

One of the favourite managers who is very much in line to become the next boss at Stamford Bridge is Frank Lampard.

Lampard is a Chelsea legend, who left the club as the top scorer at the Bridge. He is now the boss at Derby County where he took over last season and did a fantastic job with the Rams.

With Chelsea’s current transfer ban situation complicating their new manager hunt, Lampard could well be in the hot seat as early as this week. However, Cech has ruled out a certainty of that happening yet.

“The situation is open, Frank [Lampard] is one of the candidates. The first team will start the preparation, by that time we would like to solve the coach’s question.”

The duo played together for Chelsea for almost a decade.

Chelsea winger provides future update

Chelsea winger Pedro has said that he has no plans on leaving Chelsea and wants to fight for his place in the squad.

The Spaniard joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2015 on a transfer fee of £19 million. He has since made183 appearances for the Blues, netting 41 goals and providing 25 assists.

This season, Pedro scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions. He played a key role in Chelsea’s run to the Europa League, scoring 5 and assisting three in 14 appearances. One of his goals came in the final against Arsenal at Baku which Chelsea won 4-1. Pedro’s Europa League performances earned him a place in the tournament’s Team of the Season.

With Eden Hazard leaving for Real Madrid, Pedro has to fight for the winger position alongside Willian, Callum Hudson-Odoi and new signing Christian Pulisic.

Despite the competition being fierce, the 31-year old has no intentions of leaving the club. Pedro said, “I’ve got one year left on my contract at Chelsea. And I hope I can stay there as long as possible. There’s the possibility of playing in the Champions League once again.”

While Pedro has no desire of leaving Chelsea at present, he does want to play for his hometown club CD Tenerife who are in the second tier in Spain. Despite being born in Tenerife, Pedro never played in the local club during his youth career or senior career so far. The Spaniard said, “I’ve always said I wanted to play at CD Tenerife at least for one year. It would make my family and I really happy. But I still have a year left at Chelsea.”

David Luiz reveals Chelsea’s best player in training

Robert Green is Chelsea’s best player in training according to defender David Luiz.

Green called it quits on his 20-year long professional career following his one-season spell at Chelsea, making no appearances for the Blues.

When asked who was Chelsea’s best player as the season curtailed, Luiz replied, “Robert Green. Because to see the passion he had for training after a long career knowing already he was going to retire and did not play one game in the season, but having the same passion, was for me someone to admire.”

Luiz will hope to play in Chelsea’s pre-season matches, the first of which is against Irish club Bohemians. Chelsea’s second pre-season game is also against an Irish club, St. Patrick’s Athletic.

After this, Chelsea travel to Japan where they play Kawasaki Frontale and Barcelona. Their final three pre-season matches are against Red Bull Salzburg, Reading and Borussia Monchengladbach after which, Chelsea take on Liverpool in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup at Istanbul.

Chelsea Make Final Decision On £270,000-Per-Week Striker

Chelsea Make Final Decision On £270,000-Per-Week Striker

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea have decided against bringing Gonzalo Higuain back on a permanent deal.

The 31-year-old was signed on loan from Juventus for a short period. He was handed major responsibilities by Maurizio Sarri but Higuain failed to impress, scoring just 5 goals in 17 outings.

Olivier Giroud kept on outperforming the Argentine, eventually, even getting chosen over him to play in the Europa League final against Arsenal. Chelsea won the match comfortably 4-1 with Giroud racking up one of his team’s goals.

With Sarri also out of the Stamford Bridge, Higuain has no backers at Chelsea. The Blues have been served a transfer ban which means that they can only sign players they had agreements with prior to the ruling – Matteo Kovacic and Higuain.

They are very close to finalising Kovacic’s trade from Real Madrid but have chosen against activating the centre-forward’s clause.

Most supporters might feel this is the right decision since Higuain tragically failed to impress them while collecting £270,000 paychecks every week.

Chelsea academy product, Tammy Abraham is on the rise after a promising season with Aston Villa and Michy Batshuayi has returned from his loan with Crystal Palace. With Giroud in the ranks, the Blues have enough firepower to ignore the prospects of the former Napoli man.

Chelsea Threaten Atletico Madrid With Morata Callback

Chelsea Threaten Atletico Madrid With Morata Callback

Chelsea are threatening to call Alvaro Morata back from his loan spell if Atletico Madrid continues to stall on paying out the £50m they promised for his permanent transfer.

The Spaniard arrived at Stamford Bridge on a club-record fee but fell out of the rotation under both Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri.

“I had a very bad time in London. In the end, I was training alone,” he revealed in an interview earlier this month. “I talked to Sarri and he told me some things that I knew were not going to be as he had said.”

He was then shipped out to Atletico on an 18-month loan spell where he scored 6 goals in the second half of last season. Morata seems to be enjoying his back at Madrid and has no intention of returning back to Chelsea.

However, he might not be in the power to make that decision since the heads at West London are currently pulling all the strings. The Blues have the power to cut Morata’s in short if Atletico fail to pay £50m this very summer.

With Antoine Griezmann set to leave the Wandametropolitana as well, the La Liga outfit could be in a dire situation if both strikers leave in the same window. Diego Simeone is planning to rebuild the squad and has also put ex-Chelsea forward, Diego Costa on the transfer list.

Chelsea are playing their best cards to make some quick cash. They played a similar sum for the transfer of Matteo Kovacic from Real Madrid.
