Frank Lampard has reportedly agreed a 3 year deal with Chelsea which will see him take over at Stamford Bridge in the next 48 hours.
The Former Blues player and club legend, Frank is currently the boss at Derby County. Lampard started his managerial career last season when he took over the Rams. In one season, not only did Lampard take them to the play-offs but he also managed to revamp an ageing squad and play some brilliant attacking football while doing so.
Lampard spent 13 years at Chelsea where he won 11 trophies for the club, including captaining the club on the special night of their UEFA Champions League win in Munich. Lampard is known for his calm head even in the worst circumstances and he will be replacing the methodical Maurizio Sarri who left Chelsea for Juventus earlier this summer.
Lampard will definitely be more of a fan favourite than Sarri, who was hated by the fans for his stubbornness. However, Lampard is more of a cult hero at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea fans will surely be delighted to hear that Lampard has agreed a 3 year deal with the club which includes Champions League bonuses.
