Chelsea fans were really excited to see Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James on the right hand side of their play.
Frank Lampard has said that this is just the start.
“It is just the start of it in terms of first team football,” Lampard said. “It’s the start of the partnership and it needs to be worked on and honed in.
“They both have different talents. When Callum is higher and running at people and being aggressive like he was today, and Reece is behind him of course it is a big thing.
Lampard then went on to praise James further.
“He is a good footballer in terms of his awareness, not just his crosses which are really eye-catching. He can play,” Lampard added.
“There are obviously things he can improve and defensively we will work with him on the training ground. He is a smart footballer.
“He takes up good positions, high up the pitch at times and really wide. That was nice to see the combination between him and Callum today.
“It was a really dangerous one for Burnley today and we made good use of it.”
