Fresh reports are saying that Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has been given an ‘ultimatum’ by the club’s board regarding his future.

The West London club is planning to conduct a review meeting where they can review Pochettino’s performance. They will do it at the end of the season. The Argentine will complete his first season at Stamford Bridge this month.

It has been a mixed season for Chelsea. However, they can call it a decent one after comparing to the previous season. The Argentine guided his side to the EFL Cup final this season. They also made into the FA Cup semifinals. We have seen an improvement in Chelsea’s performance as they are heading towards European qualification.

Chelsea are also linked with Mourinho and some other names to replace the Argentine. But, the situation is now under control and Pochettino will stay for next season.

Chelsea are on a three-match winning run and kept clean sheet in each. They hammered Everton 6-0 and also beat London rivals, Tottenham 2-0. Later, they beat West Ham 5-0 to improve their goal difference.

Chelsea’s board have now reached a decision to give Pochettino an ultimatum. He will retain his job if Chelsea secures qualification for the Europa League. The Blues need to finish in the top six but if Man United win the FA Cup trophy then they will miss out.
