Caballero warns Chelsea ahead of top four race

Chelsea’s handsome 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur mean that the Blues are firmly back in the top 4 race for the league.

Chelsea are currently sixth in the table but they have a big chance to jump up and ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal as they are only 2 and 3 points behind the respective clubs but with a game in hand.

Caballero has however, warned the Blues to take it game by game.

“I think the game against Spurs also helped us. The people in the stadium were involved in the game. That’s what we needed and we need it as a team in every single game we play at home.”

“We are focused on the top four, but we need to go step by step. Every time that we try to see a little bit further than one game, we make a mistake so we have to be clear.”

“I know there are a few games where two (of the top four rivals) teams are playing each other, like the next one between Spurs and Arsenal. It’s going to be good for us, but only if we win against Fulham. We are happy with what we achieved against Tottenham, but we have to get ready for the next game. I think we have to go one game at a time.”
