Social media couldn’t believe what they were seeing after the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw was delayed by over 90 minutes.
The 26th of October now becomes the day that the worst Cup draw in history took place, with a shambles from Carabao.
The draw for the fifth round of the competition saw a 90-minute delay with technical issues continuously pushing back the event.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City are all names that remain in the competition and eagerly awaited their opponents.
Safe to say, they would have been pretty bored with the wait that we all had to sit through until the draw took place.
Carabao’s problems were compounded by the reaction on social media which was pretty damning, to say the least.
Some chose to simply joke about the matter while others continued to call for other companies to take over the competition.
While it took an awfully long time for the draw to get underway, it eventually did go ahead.
