Chelsea have been drawn up against Bayern Munich for their match in the Champions League round of 16.
The Blues last faced the Bundesliga giants in the competition all the way back in 2012 in the final where an underwhelming Chelsea side shocked Bayern on their own turf to clinch the European title.
However, since then things have changed and Chelsea are now a side in transition. The Blues scraped through their group stages and do not look serious contenders for silverware this season.Â
Although one Bayern star is refusing to take it lightly and that is Thomas Muller. We all do know why though!
This is what happened the last time the two sides met!

It is only natural Muller and co. are gunning for revenge this time.
‘With Chelsea, I haven’t seen a lot of them besides their results, but it doesn’t seem to be going so well at the moment,’ Muller said after the Champions League draw.
‘But of course they have players in their attack who can hurt us. ‘Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic have qualities but football is not about individuals, it’s about team performance.
‘We are relatively confident, I feel pretty good with the draw. ‘You [the German media] have already planted Bayern as the favourite, I like that, that’s exactly what we want.’
With the clash set to take place in February, the Blues will have the winter window to strengthen their team before taking on Bayern.
