There has been a lot of talk about Willian’s future at Chelsea. Since the second season of Antonio Conte, it seems almost every window, that Willian will leave the Blues.
However, with this season starting at the end of which Willian will have run down his contract and will be way north of 30, there are genuine concerns if we can see him in Stamford Bridge next season. As for the player, he has revealed what he wants.
Willian said: “From my side, I want to stay. I have one year left and I want to stay because I like to play for Chelsea.
“I love this club, I love to live in London and my family loves it here. I have been here six years already so everything is perfect for me. Of course there is more I want to do at Chelsea, win the Champions League!
“I want to win more titles here, I want to play more games, to score more goals so everything that I can do, I will try hard to do.”
With Lampard introducing so many young and new players at Chelsea, will Willian get a chance?
