Raheem Sterling absolutely terrorised Bournemouth last night.
The England international can easily be described as Chelsea’s most dangerous forward in the current lineup.
Raheem was left out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming EURO qualifiers.
In five games for Chelsea, Sterling has managed to score two goals and looks to be back to his dangerous best.
Mauricio Pochettino is shocked that despite his convincing performances, Sterling was not selected for the Three Lions.
The manager has also promised that he will help Sterling get back into the national team.
He said: “He is motivated to perform here and help Chelsea. And, like all top players, after that, he also wants to play for the national team. He is desperate to play for the national team.”
“We were talking the day after, and we said to him, We are going to help you earn your way back into the national team. You need to train, to keep going, to play well for your club, and for sure the coach is going to see, and you will have more possibility to join the national team.’’
