Harry Kane would ruin his legacy if he joins Chelsea

Harry Kane’s insane goalscoring form is going under the radar.

The England striker has scored 26 goals in the Premier League this season, nine behind probable Golden Boot winner Erling Haaland.

The Spurs legend is the club’s record goalscorer with 277 goals and will likely leave the North London club in the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino would be announced as Chelsea’s new head coach in the coming weeks and the club would use the manager to lure Kane to Stamford Bridge.

The 51-year-old manager would definitely want to reunite with the England captain but Spurs will refuse to sell their most celebrated player to their London rival.

Former Spurs forward Darren Bent believes Kane would ruin his legacy if he joins Chelsea this summer.

He told Premier League Productions: “That decision would come down to Harry Kane. I think Chelsea would be prepared wherever they can to get him.

“Then, it’s the whole legacy question. I believe Harry Kane’s legacy at Spurs is set in stone. He is their all-time record goalscorer.

“But once he makes that divide, no matter what he has done, he will never be welcomed back.”
