Chelsea to sell Conor Gallagher to fund signing of new players

Some club members believe selling Gallagher will result in a good profit.

Chelsea are planning to sell out Conor Gallagher so they can fund money for the signing of new players. As per the Daily Mail, the Blues may be forced to put him on sale in the next transfer window.

Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Chelsea will look for more acquisitions in the winter transfer window. Gallagher has 18 months left on his contract. Chelsea are in no mood to extend his contract.

Chelsea is likely to off-load this midfielder in January so they can plan new signings. There have been talks going on and most probably, Chelsea will look for young players.

Some club members believe selling Gallagher will result in a good profit. Chelsea could struggle with the Premier League financial fair play rule if they don’t offload more players by next summer.

The Ex-Chelsea legend John Obi-Mikel admits that the Gallagher wouldn’t start a game back in the day at Stamford Bridge. He said on his podcast, “He’s a decent player. Is he a Chelsea midfield player? Starting XI? Back in the day, when we were playing, would Gallagher get into the starting XI? No chance; I don’t think so.”
