Chelsea have no immediate plans to dismiss Mauricio Pochettino.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to sack head coach Mauricio Pochettino if the Blues don’t qualify for European competitions. West London missed out European qualification last season and it was their worst performance in the last 10 years.

Chelsea appointed Mauricio Pochettino as the new manager ahead of the ongoing season. The Argentine replaced Graham Potter who was sacked last season. Even Potter was appointed in place of Tuchel and he didn’t stay for the complete season.

The Argentine wants to improve Chelsea’s performance. He has the only goal and current owners are following the progress. Meanwhile, things haven’t been changed yet.

Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League in 2022-23 and they are on the same path in the current season. There is no big improvement. They showed some good results but still failed to carry the performance.

Chelsea invested a big amount in the summer transfer window. The Blues signed players like Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

As per the reports of the Telegraph, the Blues have no immediate plans to dismiss the current manager following a struggling first half of the 2023-24 season.

Pochettino’s side take 10th in the English top-flight. They are three points behind Brighton in seventh. If they reach there, they will at least qualify for the Europa Conference League. However, they are in the semifinals of the EFL Cup so one silverware can push chances for Pochettino.
