Chelsea have denied suggestions that they held discussions with Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim last week. The Blues are planning to sign a new manager to replace Pochettino.

Chelsea manager Pochettino’s future is uncertain. Despite some good results in domestic cups, they are struggling in the Premier League. The West London club made into the finals of the EFL Cup and qualified for the semifinals of the FA Cup.

As per reports, the Argentine is likely to stay for one more season. However, other reports are claiming that if the Blues fail to qualify for the European qualification, Pochettino might be sacked.

The media reported that Chelsea discussed with Amorim. Report stats that he flew to England to hold discussions with an unnamed Premier League club.

Now, things came out with a new update that West Ham United had arranged the talks in light of David Moyes potentially departing the London Stadium this summer.

The Sporting boss has issued a public apology and felt that he made a mistake in making the trip to England. According toMatt Law of The Telegraph, Chelsea are “absolutely adamant” that they did not instigate any meeting with him.
