Chelsea have set Conor Gallagher’s asking price at £60m.
Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is looking to stay at Stamford Bridge despite interest from other European clubs. He is reportedly expected to avoid departure for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old has established himself as a key player under Mauricio Pochettino. He has appeared 19 times this season and he only missed just one game due to suspension against Man United.
The Englishman has been linked with a move away from Chelsea. He came through Chelsea’s academy system. The Blues can still sell him to improve Chelsea’s Financial Fair Play status.
Tottenham are frontrunners to sign this midfielder. However, the Mirror reports Gallagher is set to remain at the Blues in the current transfer window.
Chelsea have set Gallagher’s asking price at £60m. As per reports, a £50m bid would be considered for the English midfielder.
Gallagher is also targeting Euro 2024 which will be played in the summer. He is looking to boost his chances of finding a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
His contract will expire in the summer of 2025. There are no evident signs that a new deal is close to being agreed. Meanwhile, Chelsea won’t mind accepting a good offer in the upcoming summer window.
