Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen is also set for his medical on Wednesday.
Chelsea is officially allowing Ian Maatsen to leave this transfer window. The Blues defender will be sent out on loan. He is ready to join Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season.
Maatsen has failed to impress under Mauricio Pochettino this season. As per the reports of Fabrizio Romano, everything is in place for the loan deal to be completed and the full-back will travel to Germany on Tuesday to get it over the line.
The 21-year-old is also set for his medical and will be available for selection when the Bundesliga resumes this weekend. The Bundesliga giants will cover his salary as part of the loan deal.
The Blues full-back would look to impress with his performances in Germany. Burnely also made a bid for him last season but Chelsea refused the offer.
Maatsen has played 15 times this season under Pochettino. However, he has only been given 376 minutes of action.
