Chelsea star is on radar of Saudi clubs for potential summer move in 2024

Chelsea’s January overhaul: Three players set for Stamford Bridge exit

Chelsea is preparing for a January reshuffle, with the club preparing to offload three players, including the promising Noni Madueke, just a year after he arrived at Stamford Bridge.

Despite a £450 million buying excessively on 13 new players during the summer transfer window, the Blues remain in 12th place in the Premier League, 18 points behind table-topping Liverpool.

Following Chelsea’s disappointing 2-0 loss to Everton, manager Mauricio Pochettino hinted at the necessity for mid-season additional troops, illustrating a specific desire for a new striker.

Meanwhile, Financial Fair Play regulations present a barrier, requiring the club to sell before they can freely purchase, a change from their prior generous spending.

Chelsea’s main priorities are Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Brentford’s Ivan Toney. Noni Madueke, a 21-year-old winger, is among those who will leave to make way for new signings.

Madueke has been battling for game time under Pochettino since coming from PSV Eindhoven last January, playing in only one game this season.

Trevoh Chalobah is another casualty of a possible Chelsea exodus, receiving interest from Bayern Munich and Roma. Crystal Palace additionally keeps an eye on the 24-year-old as he heals from a season-long thigh ailment and has yet to make an appearance under Pochettino.

Full-back Maasten, a summer target for Burnley, may also leave the club, with Borussia Dortmund showing interest in bringing him to the Wesfalenstadion. The looming question is if Dortmund will secure a permanent offer before the end of the season.

As Chelsea negotiates the difficult January transfer market, the departure of these three players might clear the way for crucial reinforcements in their attempt to climb the Premier League table.
