Mason Mount will be replaced by Andreas Pereira at Chelsea

Chelsea is now interested in Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira as a possible Mason Mount replacement during the summer transfer window. The probability that Mount will leave the team is rising as a result of the midfielder’s inability to reach an amicable agreement during contract negotiations with the club. Additionally, the Englishman has plenty of choices should he decide to move on because Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool are keeping an eye on things.

The 27-year-old midfielder has been in superb form for Fulham, and while it’s believed he’s happy there, a summer transfer to a major European club is considered to be possible. Additionally, according to Transfermarkt, he has a contract with Craven Cottage that runs through 2026 with an extra year option. His market value is between £25 million and £35 million.

The Brazilian international has contributed to Fulham’s success this season with two goals and six assists in 27 appearances. Since Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on February 26, the England international has not played for the club. Even though there were rumors he planned to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer due to his tense contract talks, he engaged a new agent to handle his future.

If Mount does decide to leave and we are effective in signing him, the Brazilian midfielder would be a great replacement because he is 27 years old and has a ton of experience as an offensive midfielder. Additionally, he previously played in the Premier League for Manchester United and is now a key member for Fulham.

Pereira can seek redemption at Chelsea after his difficulties at Old Trafford. He is a late bloomer who has yet to reach his potential but has already demonstrated his capacity to succeed in the proper environment. It is uncertain if Stamford Bridge will serve as that location.
