Edouard Mendy has been told he can leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Blues are looking to offload a number of players in the summer window after heaving spending last summer and in the January window.

He has fallen under the pecking order behind Kepa Arrizabalaga since Potter’s arrival and is expected to leave at the end of the season.

He has entered the final 18 months of his Chelsea contract as he arrived from Rennes back in 2020 under Frank Lampard’s regime.

The Senegalese quickly established himself as one of the finest shot-stoppers in the top-flight keeping 16 clean sheets in his first season.

A fractured finger restricted the 31-year-old keeper to just 11 appearances across all competitions.

Kepa has been posted between the sticks for Chelsea’s last 16 matches across all competitions.

And according to several sources, Chelsea hierarchy has told Mendy to find a new club in the summer.

Mendy has garnered 49 clean sheets from 104 appearances in a Blues jersey since his arrival two and half years ago.

The Blues are looking to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya who has been linked with several Premier League clubs in the past few weeks.
