Real Madrid could decide to sell their £50million striker to Chelsea this summer.

Madrid signed Luka Jovic last summer after a brilliant spell from the Serbian forward with Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt. However, this season has not gone according to plan for him with the striker scoring only 2 goals across the entire season.

He has now gotten himself into hot waters in the Coronavirus issue. Real Madrid players were asked to self-isolate last week after a member of their basketball team was tested positive for CoVID-19.

However, Jovic flew back to Serbia ignoring the quarantine measure and the striker has now even blamed the club for it.

The striker was forced to apologise, saying: ‘I am very sorry that some people did not do their jobs professionally and did not give me instructions on how to behave regarding isolation. ‘In Spain I was allowed to go to the pharmacy and the supermarket, which isn’t the case here.’

It appears Real are less then pleased with the player’s attitude and are now eager to move him once the pandemic subsides. They are believed to be looking at options to sell him with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur keen on the striker.

Chelsea were interested in Jovic 18 months back and could potentially look to him again with their striker problems growing by the day.

Giroud is out of a contract and Batshuayi is not good enough meaning Tammy Abraham is the only decent striking option left. This has led to talks that Chelsea need another forward for sure with Jovic now a potential replacement.
