Napoli president has made it clear that he will only part ways if Osimhen’s release clause is activated.
Chelsa are reportedly in front of Arsenal in the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The Nigeria international is heavily linked with these two Premier League clubs.
Napoli man was outstanding last season, scoring 26 goals in 32 top-flight games to guide his club to their first Serie A title in 33 years.
Meanwhile, the current champions are struggling to defend the title. They currently sit in ninth place in the top-flight table with 31 points from 30 matches.

Napoli striker opted to put pen to paper on a new contract which runs until the summer of 2026. His future is still uncertain and he is linked with Arsenal and Chelsea. He has a reported €120m (£102.7m) release clause.
The 25-year-old has also added that he has already made a decision over his future. As per the reports of Il Mattino, via Get Italian Football, the Blues are currently leading Arsenal in the race to sign Osimhen’s signature.
The report adds that Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has made it clear that he will only part ways if Osimhen’s release clause is activated.
