Timo Werner reportedly wants to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

There are several players in the Chelsea first-team who are unhappy and wants to leave the club this summer.

One such player is Timo Werner who struggled for minutes last season and wants to move on as he wants more game time to get selected for the World Cup squad in Qatar.

According to Tony Cascarino, Chelsea do not have the leadership in place to fix the club’s problems.

He told talkSPORT: “So much uncertainty within that squad. Take Timo Werner, who has made it quite clear he’d like to move on and play elsewhere as he wants more game time ahead of the World Cup.

“That’s littered in Chelsea’s squad, way too many.

“You also have to add in departures at the top end of the club. That doesn’t always affect what happens on the field, but from Bruce Buck to Marina to Petr Cech, there’s too much change at Chelsea.

“It’s becoming a bit messy.”
