Werner has struggled to cement a place in Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Timo Werner is looking to leave Stamford Bridge. Some top European clubs are interested in the German attacker.
According to the Italian transfer insider, Juventus are still keen to get Alvaro Morata on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid, and he is the manager’s “priority.” But if that deal proves hard to do, Werner is considered a useful alternative for the club.
Former Bundesliga attacker is also in plan to return to RB Leipzig. The German joined Chelsea from Leipzig in the summer of 2020.
Werner had been offered to the Old Lady in talks for Matthijs De Ligt, who has instead joined Bayern Munich.
