Tottenham are keen to sign Conor Gallagher in the final days of the window.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been a mainstay at Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino and his form has been one of the biggest positives in the team.

He is currently donning the captain’s armband in the absence of club captain Reece James.

Gallagher has featured on 28 occasions for the Blues this term, setting up six goals in the process.

The England international has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract and has been linked with a departure in this winter window.

Chelsea could risk losing the 23-year-old for free in 2025 if he doesn’t agree to fresh terms in the coming months.

The Blues need to sell a few players to adhere to the Financial Fair Play regulations.

Tottenham are reportedly lining up a last-gasp move to sign the 23-year-old Chelsea academy graduate.

The Blues have slapped a £80 million price tag on the midfielder but they would struggle to ask such an exorbitant amount due to the player’s contract situation.

The North London giants are keen to strengthen their engine room in the coming days but it’s unclear if a last-minute offer for Gallagher would do the trick.
