Thomas Tuchel hoping for new deals for Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
The Chelsea boss has prioritised tying down extended contracts to Chelsea defender duo Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
Both the defenders are out of contract next summer and are on the verge of signing a bumper new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Christensen who has been impressive last season will reportedly sign a new deal worth £120,000-a-week.
On the other hand, the Blues are trying hard to tie down Rudiger to a new contract since January.
The German defender reportedly wants £200,000 a week in his new deal.
After both these defenders sign a contract extension, the club will focus on retaining other players such as Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.
Tuchel said: “I hope that they find solutions, but it’s not only between coaches and players, and what we wish for.
“And that’s why it’s between the club and the player’s agent at the moment.
“He’s in the strongest league in Europe, in a big club, so not many reasons to change that. But in the end, it’s between him and the club, and that’s in good hands.”
