Juventus signed De Ligt from Ajax two years ago and they will lose him next year to Chelsea.

Juventus defender Matthujs de Ligt’s contract carries a buyout clause and now, in-form Chelsea are interested in him. According to Daily Star, the Dutch international defender has a ‘special release clause’ in his contract at Serie A giants that becomes active in the summer of 2022. The release clause will now allow clubs to sign Matthujs de Ligt for £130million from the end of the season 2021-22.

Juventus signed Dutch International from Ajax two years ago and they will lose him next year to Premier League club. The Blues are in top-class form and they are the Champions League winner. Chelsea are current favourites to win Premier League. Tuchel is keen to sign a defender as the club missed out a chance to Sevilla’s Jules Kounde in the summer.

There are some other reports that Bayern Munich have reportedly been in contact with Sahr Senesie over the possibility of signing Blues defender Antonio Rudiger.  If Chelsea loses him then they would need a defender for next summer. Rudiger has appeared in all of Chelsea’s Premier League games. Defence was the key factor for Chelsea in their winning campaign of the UEFA Champions League.
