Real Madrid ready to entertain offers for Chelsea linked Eden Hazard
Real Madrid are open to receiving bids for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard ahead of the summer transfer window. His future at the Santiago Bernabeu is currently in doubt, since he has failed to live up to the expectations that drew him to the club in the first place.
Hazard left Chelsea in 2019 to join Real Madrid for a cost of £100 million. However, ailments and fitness issues have derailed his time in the Spanish city thus far, and it appears that his time with them is drawing to a close. He’s been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, which has been boosted even more by this recent development.
The Real Madrid club is interested in acquiring PSG starlet Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer. As a result, Hazard would be forced to make way for Mbappe, resulting in this position. This development might provide Thomas Tuchel’s team with the impetus to pursue their club legend after this season.
Even though Hazard is well valued by all of us, there are some legitimate worries about bringing him back. If there are departures at the end of the season, Chelsea might use some reinforcements on the left flank.
Timo Werner, who has been used in that position, may be better served as a backup number 9 rather than out wide, given his underperformance since joining Chelsea.
if Chelsea do have to part ways with a sizable sum of money for him, it wouldn’t make sense to bring him back to the Bridge just for sentimental value.
