Paul Merson has a bold prediction about Chelsea vs Tottenham.
The Blues are traveling to the North London side on Monday evening for their next Premier League clash.
Chelsea have lost 2-0 on their last visit to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and Spurs have gone through some significant changes over the past few months.
Since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival in the summer, Spurs sit undefeated at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino is struggling to find consistency with Chelsea who are languishing at 11th in the Premier League table.
Chelsea fan Paul Merson has tipped his club to come away with all three points against Spurs on Monday night.
He said on Sky Sports: “Chelsea fans would rather play them teams [that attack them], teams that come to Chelsea and sit back, it’s a struggle. I go and watch myself. Ten behind the ball. I am more confident about going to Tottenham on Monday than playing Brentford at home. I am.
“Because I know Tottenham will have a go – I am going Monday. I would be shocked if Chelsea lose, I would be shocked.”
