David Datro Fofana made his Premier League debut against Fulham.
The young forward joined Blues in an £8 million deal from Molde and made his debut in the goalless draw against Fulham in the Premier League.
Chelsea have signed a significant number of attacking players in the January window as Graham Potter looks to find his best-attacking lineup.
The 20-year-old striker could struggle for playing time due to competition up front.
On his debut against Fulham, Fofana failed to score in the 80th minute with Bernd Leno in between the sticks.
Glen Hoddle claims Fofan is not the answer to Chelsea’s attacking problem.
Hoddle told Premier League Productions: ‘No, he’s not the answer.
‘He’s not ready now. Even if he had an absolute blinder and scored two goals he wouldn’t be the answer yet, you’ve got to have a lot of longevity as a youngster to come in at that level at Chelsea.
‘He can do a job, he’d be a good substitution maybe.’
