Jose to raid Chelsea for Kurt Zouma

Kurt Zouma is being chased by his former boss Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to bid £25m for the French centre-back. Kurt Zouma was given his Chelsea debut back when Jose Mourinho was in Chelsea during his second reign.

The young centre back was tipped to go to the top but for an unfortunate injury which saw his career slightly derailed. However, Zouma has made a decent comeback to first team football this season for the Blues and has been a good performer in the back.

There is competition however, in the form of Antonio Rudiger, Fikayo Tomori and Andreas Christensen and should Zouma stay in Chelsea, he will have to definitely either up his game more or sacrifice in playing time.

This is where reportedly Jose is set to make his play by taking him to Spurs where Kurt can play more regularly. Tottenham are ready to pay in the region of £25m although Chelsea too are ready to see it out by taking the price much higher.

Some reports have suggested that Chelsea’s estimated price of Zouma plus a rival tax would mean that the Blues could demand as much as £60m for the player which will definitely put Mourinho’s team out of the chase.
