Chelsea are reportedly in the lead to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho!
The former Manchester City star came on to the big stage back in 2017 when he starred for England in the U-17 World Cup back!
However, back in the club level, due to the high level of competition in Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Sancho was not getting enough game time and decided to jump ships and head off to Germany.
In Germany, at Dortmund, he was able to freely express himself as he made a brilliant impact for them.
In two years in Germany, he has become from a young talent to one of the best wingers in the Bundesliga and now teams are vying for his signature.
Amongst the chasers are teams like Manchester United and Chelsea. Also there are the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool.
However, according to the Sun, Chelsea are now in the lead and have reportedly come close to agreeing a £120m deal with Dortmund for a transfer for Sancho next month.
Chelsea are entering back the transfer market after serving a ban and the club are ready to roll back into the transfers in style.
Lampard has done well with what he has for now and will need reinforcements to build a new team at the helm!
