Hakim Ziyech was close to joining Al-Nassr last month.

The 30-year-old agreed to sign a lucrative three-year contract with the Saudi Arabian side but failed his medical due to a knee problem.

The Moroccan international is considered as surplus to Pochettino’s requirements and would be the latest player to be sold this summer.

He struggled for game time last season and managed to start only nine times across all competitions.

Ziyech has two years left on his Chelsea contract and leaving Stamford Bridge would be his best option to rekindle his career.

Journalist Rudy Galetti suggests Ziyech to find a new club as soon as possible.

He said: “After the failed medical tests with Al-Nassr, at the moment there is only one certainty with Hakim Ziyech’s future. He wants to leave Chelsea as soon as possible.

“Chelsea, in the same way, want to part ways with Ziyech as well. Some days ago, the Saudi club were internally considering making a new lower offer, about 30 or 40% less for the Moroccan player.”
