Finally, Hakim Ziyech has completed his departure from Chelsea to join Galatasaray

The Moroccan winger has now been signed by Galatasaray after a turbulent period that followed his achievement at the World Cup in Qatar. A loan agreement with a commitment from Galatasaray to acquire Hakim Ziyech on a permanent basis the following year has been confirmed by Chelsea.

When Chelsea missed the deadline to approve his paperwork for a January transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, the deal fell through. Earlier in the summer, Saudi club Al-Nassr backed out of an earlier £8 million trade due to problems with his physical.

Three years after joining Chelsea from Ajax for £34m, Hakim Ziyech took a flight to Istanbul on Friday evening to finalise the move and undergo a medical.

Hakim Ziyech was acquired by the Turkish team for £3 million on loan and for a further £2.5 million on a permanent basis. He also went to Gala’s 2-0 victory over Trabzonspor on Saturday to meet the supporters.

For the west Londoners, the Moroccan winger made 107 appearances and scored 14 goals, none of which came last season.
