Former Chelsea star Craig Burley feels that if Eden Hazard wants to move to Real Madrid, he should do it now or else he won’t get another chance.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding Eden Hazard’s future at Chelsea. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to bolster Real’s squad in the summer transfer window and Hazard is at the top of his wishlist. Plenty of reports suggest that Hazard might join the club this summer.

Hazard’s current contract at Chelsea expires next summer and he is yet to sign a new contract for the club. Provided Hazard leaves Chelsea now, his transfer could bring in £100 million for the club.

Besides, Hazard is not the only player Real are interested in. PSG stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are amongst the players Real are keen on bringing in the summer.

Hence, Burley feels that Hazard should sign for Real now if he wants to or else the club won’t show interest in him later on.

The former Scottish international said, “Time is not on Hazard’s side. If he does not make the move to Real Madrid this summer, he is probably never going to make that move.

Because in just over one year’s time they will have moved onto someone else, be it Neymar or Mbappe, or the new kid on the block.

He will then be a year older and how do you know he is not going to pick an injury up? Hazard has been a good servant to that football club and has played very well for them. I think that if he wants to make that move to Real Madrid, and I think that he should, then he has to make it this summer.

Nobody can give him a guarantee in future so I think that if he doesn’t make it now, he never will.”
