David Raya to join hands with Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has one year left on his contract with Brentford and Arsenal are considered favorites for the Spanish goalkeeper.

He has previously attracted interest from Tottenham and Manchester United, while Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich also wanted to make a move for the shot-stopper.

The Bees have already signed his replacement in the form of Mark Flekken from Freiburg.

Raya has been suggested to move to Stamford Bridge instead of joining Arsenal in the summer by former Spurs forward Darren Bent.

Although Chelsea has been suggested to make a move, they have already launched a bid for Brighton keeper Robert Sanchez.

Bent said: “David Raya is better than Kepa Arrizabalaga. So why would Chelsea not go for him?

“Why would David Raya not think, ‘Hold on, why am I going to Arsenal to play behind Aaron Ramsdale? Why don’t I go to Chelsea and be their number one?’ There’s something not quite right with Arsenal’s deal for David Raya. If I were Chelsea, I would be trying to get him.”
