Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on a Chelsea raid this summer.
The Blues have 3 forwards in their ranks currently and Frank Lampard has expressed he is ready to dispose of the Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud.
The ideal situation for Chelsea is obviously getting high valuations for both players and using the money and more to buy a good striking option besides Tammy Abraham.
It is now possible according to reports – since Palace are keen on offering Chelsea £32 million for Michy Batshuayi.
The Blues will definitely be keen to take up the deal as they will make their money back on him. However, Lampard must be worried.
He is already set to lose Giroud as a free agent at the end of the current season. Moreover, Chelsea have shown that they are not really caring for the squad strength or size and will not buy a player if they do not get it for the right price.
Hence, if Lampard were to sell Batshuayi as well, it might just happen that a tough market forces Chelsea to stay put and Lampard will have to go into the new season with one recognized first team striker.
Tough choices ahead for Frank!
