Chelsea's Cole Palmer reflects on his first-team debut for England in Euro qualifiers

Cole Palmer is dreaming of making his debut for the Three Lions.

Cole Palmer has been outstanding since his move to Chelsea from Manchester City. He has delivered his best run against his former club in the previous game in a 4-4 draw.

He was called up to the senior England squad by Gareth Southgate and the youngster is dreaming of making his debut for the Three Lions.

During his press conference ahead of the Malta match on Friday, He spoke to the media and said, “Just mixed messages. When I scored on Sunday the majority of them were happy for me.”

The 21-year-old said, “I just thought it was a long way away when I was that age. Obviously, now I’m here I have thought about what if I do make my debut. It’s going to be an amazing moment for me and my family if it does happen. If it doesn’t happen, I’m just happy to be here and called up.”

Palmer had no hesitation in naming three titans of the game: “Rooney, Ronaldo and Messi,”

England will play two Euro qualifier games this month and their first hurdle is against Malta. The Three Lions have already qualified for the finals.
