Christian Pulisic expects to shine for USA in the World Cup.
After missing out on World Cup 2018 in Russia, the USMNT team are ready for the challenge in Qatar.
They are predictably not the favourites in their group with England, Wales and Iran in the respective group.
Pulisic is expected to lead the team in Qatar and faces Wales at Al Rayyan Stadium next week.
The Chelsea winger is expected to play against many of his club teammates when USMNT face England in the group stage.
Pulisic said: “We’re not at the World Cup just to make up the numbers. We go, we give it everything in every game we play, we make America proud. Wherever that takes us we have to wait and see.”
“I understand why there will be lots of talk and excitement around the England game,” he added.
“They have some of the best players in the world, players that I know well. There are three games in the group and one is no more important than the other two. In all three games, we will fight for the points.”
