Chelsea running the rule over Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez

Milos Kerkez is yet to make a start in the Premier League after recovering from a training injury.

Chelsea are making a focus on the summer transfer window. The Blues are now monitoring Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez. The young gun is a former AC Milan youth product who made the move to the South Coast over the summer.

The 20-year-old made impressions at AZ Alkmaar, scoring five goals and providing eight assists in 57 matches. Bournemouth brought him for £15.2m and he became a regular for Andoni Iraola, setting up one goal in 22 matches.

He is yet to make a start in the Premier League after recovering from a training injury. He came off the bench in their last three top-flight games.

The Hungary international has been vital for Bournemouth. As per journalist Ben Jacobs via FootballTransfers, he has caught the eye of Chelsea.

The Blues allowed Ian Maatsen to join Borussia Dortmund on loan and they need a big change in the squad during the summer. Dortmund may offer a permanent offer for Maatsen. Pochettino has Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella only as Chelsea’s recognised left-backs.

If Chelsea were to press ahead with a move for Milos Kerkez, they would wait until 2025 or even later to make an approach. As per reports, his agreement will end in the summer of 2027.
