Callum Hudson-Odoi is already a prime time face on Chelsea Instagram.
The 18 year old winger first came into the limelight last season with some brilliant performances in the youth teams which forced the Chelsea hierarchy to bump him into the first team.
Although Sarri was unwilling to put him in the first team, Hudson-Odoi’s stock kept rising as Bavarian giants Bayern Munich came in to snap up the youngster with a serious bid.
This forced Chelsea’s hand as they offered him a mega contract soon after.
The new season began with hope and optimism for both Chelsea and Callum as Lampard promised to get Hudson-Odoi firing.
However, what Chelsea fans forgot was that he is only 18 and needs time. He is THE long term project who can be a world beater.Â
After failing to perform for a couple of matches at the Bridge this seasons, fans had begun to write him off and wanted him loaned off even!
However, Callum answered his doubters in style last night as he scored one and set up another for Ross Barkley in Chelsea’s 2-0 win in the FA Cup.
