Noni Madueke joined Chelsea in the January window for £30 million.

The England U-21 winger was the star man in England’s 4-0 win over France U21 last night.

The former PSV winger bagged one goal and two assists against the Les Blues.

For Chelsea, he made his debut against Fulham and has featured barely at the club making only four Premier League appearances.

He has been omitted from Chelsea’s Champions League squad and demands the opportunity to impress Graham Potter.

England U21 manager Lee Carsley has lavished praise on the talented youngster and believes can have a big impact if given the chance.

“Seeing him get that goal and two assists was really pleasing,” Carsley said.

“I think his style of play will really suit the Premier League. He’s exciting, fast, direct, and very versatile but what we have to remember is he is still young.

“He is going to need time, match minutes, the time to work on his game but he has high potential.

“Like a lot of the younger players, he just needs an opportunity. They need opportunities to show that talent and given a run of games he will be fine.”
