Chelsea is planning to bid for an audacious summer swap deal!
Reports are suggesting that the Blues are interested in signing Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan. The Blues are unhappy with their current goalkeeping status with Kepa as the numero uno choice.
Kepa was signed for a club-record fee a couple of seasons ago but has not lived up to his potential. He has especially gone wayward this season under the tutelage of Frank Lampard.Â
The Blues boss has tried giving him plenty of chances but Kepa does not seem to be the quality he promised. So the Blues hierarchy are now looking at new options with Donnarumma being lined up.
Donnarumma, the AC Milan star joined the first team at the age of 16 and has been playing at the top level. He has been tipped to become one of the best in the world. With Milan not playing up to their earlier standards, Donnarumma could soon be on the move to a bigger club.
Hence, Chelsea are trying to now finalise swap deal. It would help both parties as Chelsea will get who they want and so will AC Milan who will be getting a decent young goalie.Â
