British billionaire Nick Candy joined the bidding race for Chelsea’s ownership. Candy has emerged as a possible buyer for Chelsea.
We all know the story about Roman Abramovich who decided to sell his club due to the current Russia-Ukraine war. Chelsea’s Russian billionaire put out a statement over it. He owned this amazing club for almost two decades.
Several potential owners are already linked with the club. Swiss billionaire, Hansjorg Wyss also said to be forming a consortium to make a bid.
Abramovich wants £3 billion for the club, while The Sun claims Candy is worth around £830 million.
Recently, British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe pulled out of the running to buy Chelsea. Even American billionaire Todd Boehly put together a consortium to buy Chelsea who owns an NBA team, Los Angeles Lakers.
