Armando Broja considering his future at Chelsea

Armando Broja will be deemed surplus if Chelsea signs a new strike in January.

The Chelsea forward has played second fiddle to summer signing Nicolas Jackson throughout this season but will go further down the pecking order if the club signs a new forward this month.

Broja hasn’t seen much playing time and scored only one goal in his 12 Premier League appearances in 2023/24.

The Albanian striker is considered as one of the best players to come out of the Chelsea academy but injuries have restricted his development in the last 18 months.

It would be a good time for Broja to move and to try to revive his career, as the striker would struggle to get any minutes under Mauricio Pochettino.

Chelsea have been linked with several strikers in the winter transfer window even after spending north of a billion pounds in the last three transfer windows.

The Blues will make some crucial sales this January as they are walking on a thin line with FFP, so we can expect a few homegrown stars to leave this month.

There will be plenty of opportunities for Broja to gain regular minutes and revive his career outside of the Premier League.
