Antonio Rudiger doesn’t mind a reunion with Kai Havertz at club level.
The German playmaker would struggle to get his nod in the first team when Christopher Nkunku arrives in the summer.
He has occasionally shown flashes of brilliance and as a result, he would be sold by the West London outfit in the summer.
Chelsea would want to balance their books and trim their squad this summer after spending over €600 million in the last two transfer windows.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti admires Havvertz and is keen to strike a deal with his former club Chelsea.
Antonio Rudiger played alongside Havertz at Chelsea for two seasons before joining Los Blancos last summer on a free transfer.
He welcomes the prospect of reuniting with his former teammate at Santiago Bernabeu.
‘I would be happy to play with Havertz again at club level,’ Rudiger told AS.
‘Unfortunately, I cannot say much about it because, on the subject of transfers, my word is secondary. It’s the club’s decision.’
