Christopher Nkunku will join Chelsea ahead of the new season.
The Frenchman signed a pre-contract with the Blues last year and will complete a £53m move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The 25-year-old managed to win the Bundesliga Golden Boot despite missing two months through injury.
The Blues are in desperate need of a goalscorer as Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling finished the season with only nine goals each.
Nkunku is expected to join Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for pre-season and is expected to lead the line for the Blues.
“I am focused on this gathering with Les Bleus. Everything that happens after, we will have time to think.
“I play where the coach decides. I don’t want to be a problem but a solution. But I can be up front, in support behind or on the wings. I have this ability to adapt – I like to be free.”
Chelsea will offload around 12-14 players in the summer window as they have over 40 first-team players on the books.
