Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte wants to sign Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmier as Inter Milan.
According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan want Palmieri to play in the Left Wing-Back position. Ivan Perisic plays as a left winger for Inter hence, he is the frontrunner to play as a wing-back on the left flank.
However, provided Perisic lacks the attitude or defensive capability, the Nerazzurri will look for other players and Emerson is on their list.
Emerson joined Chelsea from Roma last January on a transfer fee of £17.6 million. Back then, Conte was Chelsea’s manager. However, he made 7 just appearances for Chelsea during the remainder of the 2017/18 season.
Last season, Emerson made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring a goal against Liverpool in the EFL Cup and providing 2 assists. His second assist of the season came in the Europa League Final against Arsenal at Baku where Chelsea won 4-1, claiming the Europa League title.
Chelsea may not be too willing to sell Emerson because they are already in triuble of losing Marcos Alonso and can’t sign any more players owing to a transfer ban.
