Michy Batshuayi might be leaving Chelsea soon as the Blues put forth their asking price to West Ham.

With Chelsea almost about to finalise their agreement with RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, the Blues are ready to offload some of their players to balance out their expenditure this season. And one of those players in striker Mitcy Batshuayi, according to the Express.

Chelsea no longer has a need for an extra striker, and Mitchy Batshuayi comes straight into the limelight for them.

West Ham are leading in the race to acquire Batshuayi and have come close enough for Chelsea to state their asking price. Batshuayi is going to leave Chelsea this summer as the Blues almost finish their deal with Timo Werner, and Frank Lampard looking to make changes in his team.

Michy Batshuayi has not proved to be a bad player. In fact he has a great scoring record, with 25 goals in 77 goals. However, he has been off on loan to several clubs during his time with Chelsea like Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace. He has not got many chances to be a regular in the first team ever since he was signed by the Blues in 2016 from French club Marseille.

Chelsea has quoted £40 million for the striker, but even though West Ham is greatly interested, are not happy with the amount the Blues have quoted and are not prepared to pay so much for him. So both Michy and Chelsea might have to wait.
