Ben Chilwell and Hakim Ziyech missed out on the Spurs game.
Hakim Ziyech has recovered from the hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for one month and new manager Thomas Tuchel decided to give him a break to reduce the risk of injury.
A few of the regular Chelsea players missed out on the game against Spurs.
Zouma, Chilwell, Ziyech has not been involved in any game under Thomas Tuchel but the German coach that the current set up is not final yet.

“Yeah, but we need more experience to get to know them better, and they need more experience with me to get to know me better,” he told Chelsea TV after the game.
“This is not finished. But of course, there is no better way to get to know the players than in games and difficult situations.
“From there you can learn a lot about the characters, the team spirit, the quality and how to use them.
“Then you go on, this does not stop.”
