Thomas Tuchel has had a positive influence on the players, according to Hakim Ziyech.
Chelsea managed to win 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend to make it 2 wins in 3 under Tuchel.
Hakim Ziyech is definitely seeing a change under the new boss as compared to Frank Lampard’s regime. He pointed out how Chelsea attacks more under Tuchel.
Speaking to the club’s website, Ziyech said, “I think you will see a Chelsea that attacks more and controls the game more. That’s what we’ve tried to do in the last two games, to play with possession and from there try to attack a lot.
“It’s not always nice when a manager leaves and a new one comes in but he’s brought his new ideas and everybody is excited to work under him.”
Chelsea now sit 7th in the table ahead of their game against Sheffield United. There have been plenty of changes brought in, especially in terms of player selection. Ones who were regular under Lampard are now fighting for playing time.
Timo Werner and Kai Havertz face the biggest challenge in breaking into the Blues starting line-up now. After their mammoth transfers from the Bundesliga, they have struggled to hit the ground running.
